Jane Tomlinson MBE
: Women of the Year Outstanding Achievement Award 2005, Sponsored by Good Housekeeping Magazine. In August 2000, Jane was diagnosed with advanced metastic breast cancer which was deemed to be incurable. Since that diagnosis, Jane's determination took her on a journey to complete a host of sporting achievements and raise £1,250, 000 for UK and American based cancer and children's charities. Jane sadly passed away on 3 September 2007.

Nicky Webb and Helen Marriage
: Women of the Year Shine Award 2006 Sponsored by Women in the Arts.
Nicky and Helen were instrumental in bringing the Sultan’s Elephant, a 12-metre high mechanical elephant and 5.5-metre high little girl moving art exhibition to the streets of London in May 2006. They were recognised following their passion to challenge the way we view the world in which we live through bringing live art to the streets of the capital.

Ms Dynamite : Young Achiever of the Year Award 2003
Awarded for her stand against guns after the shooting in Birmingham of two teenage girls on New Year’s Eve 2002.

Sue Townsend : Frink Award 2003 The author of Adrian Mole. Over the past ten years, Sue has gone blind due to diabetes. She can't read and has to dictate her books.
